Hulk Hogan Back Surgery

Its hard to say if Hulk Hogan will be able to wrestle Sting because of all the back surgeries he has had in the past year. He has said himself that he has a hard time even getting in the ring and swinging a chair when he runs interference and attacks Sting. I'm worried that the match won't happen and as a fan that is disappointing. But at the same time seeing Hulk Hogan come out and embarrass himself if he can't physically do it would be even more disappointing I think.

I don't think anyone realizes just how serious Hulk Hogan's back problems are. He has had more surgeries this year than I could keep track of. His life seems to be a mess. His wife left him for his son's high school friend. She took his house, cars, boats, everything he owned. Now he is forced to come out of retirement and work for TNA. They had him wrestle when he first joined the company but it was embarrassing. Now they have him set to face Sting. This is the match they have been building for the past year, while Hogan has been trying to fix his back, but I just don't think he will be able to do it. More importantly, I don't think a legend like him should still have to.

Hulk Hogan should still have all his money, his house, his cars, etc. and the fact that he is forced to further cripple himself just to get by makes me sad. Hulk Hogan's career was lunched by his appearance in Rocky 3, however, this life now seems more like the plot of Rocky 5. In that movie, Rocky found out that his accountant stole all of his money, only he was so old and beaten up that he could no longer box and lost everything he ever had and had to start all over again. It was tragic. And now this is the real life version of that story.

I wish more than anything Hogan could come out and wrestling without the back pain just like he used to do it back in the day and him and Sting could have the greatest match of all time. But I think we all know that's not going to happen.
