The NFL Reaches Its Final Four. Return of the Keenum, Miss Arkansas got Robbed

The Final Four is set.  I can't say that it went as I expected.
The Bears dominated the Seahawks (no surprise).

Pittsburgh got over on Baltimore again, 31-24. (no surprise).

The Packers dominated Atlanta. (surprise).  Please note Tramon Williams below, a former Texans' Camp Body, dominating the game with 2 INT's.  Not to pat myself on the back, but I said Williams could play the 1st time I saw him in Texans camp.  Gary Kubiak and Rick Smith disagreed with me.

Finally, the Jets defense hounded the Pats WR's and came up with a 28-21 road win. (surprise). Check out Braylon Edwards celebratory back flip.  I'm done being awed by Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck.  They have not won a playoff game since the 2007 AFC title game.  As much as we talk about the arrogance of the Jets, and rightfully so, how arrogant was the Patriots offensive game plan all day?  Danny Woodhead got 20 touches. 20!?!?!?!  Where would Woodhead rank on the Jets depth chart?  He would be behind, Tomlinson, Shonn Greene, Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, Dustin Keller, and probably Jerricho Cotchery.  Everyone applauded the Pats when they traded Randy Moss and tried to say the team was about the sum of the parts.  Well, the sum of the parts got obliterated yesterday by the Jets defense.

The Pats had better seriously consider a trade for a legit #1 RB and a legit #1 WR if they intend on making a deeper run into the postseason in 2011.  I for one, am done with the Brady/Belicheck bandwagon.  Their lack of legit playmakers has been drasticly exposed.

UH got its 1st dose of good news in 2011 Friday afternoon when it was announced that record setting QB Case Keenum had been granted a 6th year of eligibility. Keenum, who tore his ACL at UCLA last season is in the beginning stages of rehabilitation and hopes to be ready for the start of next season.  Ironically, the Cougars open the season at home against UCLA.  Keenum needs 3,487 yards to surpass Tim Chang's career mark (17,072) and is 28 TD passes shy of Graham Harrell's career record (134).

The Clippers beat both the Heat and the Lakers this week.  They have the makings of a nice team.  The story from their win on Sunday versus the Lakers was the offcials losing control of the game and wrongly ejecting 3 players.

Miss Arkansas got robbed during the Miss America pageant Saturday night.  Not only is she smoking hot, she can do this.
