Eight members of the Mexican National Soccer Team that was about to participate in the Copa America got suspended for 6 months after getting caught with hookers in Ecuador.

Here are some other infamous athlete/hooker encounters.

1. Charles Barkley - A few years ago, Charles Barkley ran through a stop sign trying to get somewhere in a hurry with a female passenger he had just picked up. Not only was he drunk while driving, he was also displaying his usual candor when he told the police officer: "I was gonna drive around the corner and get a b**w job." According to the police report Barkley admitted, "She had given him a ‘b**w job’ one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life.”

2. The Minnesota Vikings "Sex Boat" - Daunte Culpepper, Fred Smoot, Moe Williams and Bryant McKinnie were all named as the main culprits behind the famous 2005 Vikings sex boat scandal.

While with the Minnessota Vikings, these four players were believed to have rented two boats on Lake Minnetonka and reportedly brought in prostitutes from out-of-state to perform various sex acts in front of several Vikings teammates and the crew.  Come one guys, at least hire in-state hookers and help the economy!

3. Peja Stojakovic - Peja was engaged to be married this year.  Then a high priced escort/porn star named Sienna West tweeted that she had hooked up with him.  Well played Peja....well played.

4. Alex Rodriguez - Can you believe A-Rod shagged with that?  Damn dude, at least pay for a good looking hooker!

5. Denny Neagle - The former Colorado Rockies pitcher blew a $19 million contract after getting caught with a $40 hooker.  As you can see, she was hardly worth the expense.
