Wrestling In CM Punk's Shadow

Ever since CM Punk has taken over Raw one wrestler seems to have been forgotten. Randy Orton was sent to Smackdown to fill the void left when Edge retired and he has done a great job with Christian. Unfortunately, that whole story seems to have been overshadowed by the epic CM Punk storyline on Raw.

At SummerSlam everyone watched to see the main event between John Cena and CM Punk, but with that disapointment aside, the real story of SummerSlam turned out to be Randy Orton vs Christian for the World Championship which in my opinion stole the show!

It was No-Holds-Barred, they used everything they could find, and the ending was amazing. Christian jumped off the second rope but was caught in the RKO which landed him face first onto the steel ring steps. The opening of last week's Smackdown started with the ending to that match and it just looked so creepy and impressive the way Randy rose from behind those steps to destroy Christian and regain his World Championship.

I think Randy Orton is carrying Smackdown the same way CM Punk has been carrying Raw, and I think the WWE should be looking to put them in a match together. Now that the John Cena storyline seems to be going away, why not put Punk and Orton together?
