The NFL owners were anxious to get in the sack (start the season).
Many of these owners have never had to make an important decision before, (they're virgins) so they rushed into an agreement before knowing if the players would approve of the owners proposal.
Now the players feel like they've had a deal forced down their throat and the labor relations have reverted back to being as appetizing as a dry humped apple pie.
