TNA Releases Generation Me & Orlando Jordan

Generation Me has requested their release from TNA Wrestling. They requested the release at the TNA Destination X pay-per-view.

Max Buck posted the following in Twitter: "Want you to hear it from us first: Yesterday, we asked for our release. Special thanks to TNA & the fans for a wonderful experience" He then renamed his Twitter handle to "MattJackson13".

Jermey Buck then tweeted the following: "Had an awesome time with TNA thanks to everyone for the support. We just felt like it was time to move on. The Young Bucks are back!"

Generation Me requested their TNA releases because they were frustrated and felt "unappreciated". They plan on returning to ROH and the indy scene under the "Young Bucks" name.

The duo requested that they released be released from their contracts on Sunday prior to Destination X.

Generation Me told colleagues at the last set of iMPACT! Wrestling tapings in late June that they would be seeking their release from the organization. A contributing factor to their decision was not being booked on house shows; they only worked three tours this year.

Orlando Jordan wasn't given a choice and was fired over the weekend. He was told it was due to "budget cuts". That's the reason Eric Young needed a new tag-team partner at the Destination X pay-per-view.

Orlando Jordan has commented on his release from TNA Wrestling via Twitter:

"I want to thank my fans a/k/a HOJ for your constant support," he tweeted. "Some of you have been with me from the start and some of you have joined me along the way."

"I want to thank (the) TNA locker room for allowing me to shake things up, and try to shine a light on some preconceived perception I deal with every day personally and professionally. I got my wings back, so let's fly. Thanks TNA and wish nothing but the best."

Orlando Jordan's profile, as well as Generation Me's, have been removed from the company website. It was reported on Monday that Generation Me & Orlando Jordan were all released from TNA Wrestling.
